WEATHER/SCHEDULE UPDATE from AHSAA
As of 10:07 AM 5/3:
Please have your athletes there as close to 12:00 as possible. Once we have all the participants for the first events, we will begin.
We are picking up where we left off yesterday.
At the conclusion of the 200M finals, we are moving up the 300 Hurdles up to the next event.
Then we will pick back up with the 3200M and roll the schedule from there.

Based on current weather conditions, we are going to delay today's events until 7:00 p.m. this evening. The severe weather line that keeps interrupting our schedule should be clear by then.
We will pick up with the events that we went into this delay with.
Our goal is to finish the 4X800M, the 200M, and the field events that we moved from tomorrow to today.

Triple Jump Updates:
Add 2A Boys Triple Jump after the 3A Boys Triple Jump
Add 1A Girls Triple Jump after the 2A Boys Triple Jump (Cannot begin before 3:30pm)
Add 3A Girls Triple Jump after 1A Girls Triple Jump (Cannot be before 2:15)
High Jump Updates:
Add 2A Boys High Jump after the Boys 1A High Jump
Add 2A Girls High Jump after the 2A boys High Jump
Add 3A Boys High Jump after the the 2A Girls High Jump (Cannot be before 3:45)
Pole Vault Updates:
Add 2A Girls Pole Vault after the 3A Boys Pole Vault
Add 2A Boys Pole Vault after the 2A Girls Pole Vault
Hurdles Update:
100 & 110 Hurdles will be reseeded and run on time. Xpress Timing will stage the athletes at the start line based on their seeding.
If we call for an event that was scheduled for tomorrow, and your athete has not arrived yet, please let us know.
If the siren were to go off indicating a lightning strike within a ten mile radius, we would finish the race that was competing, then make an announcement concerning our weather procedure.
Currently, the probability for severe thunderstorms increases to above 50% beginning at 1:00 o'clock. With this in mind, we will begin tomorrow (May 2nd) on a rolling schedule and remain rolling for the entity of the meet.
Concerning the 200M - we will not run preliminary heats. We will go directly into the finals. For this to happen, we will reseed the athletes and finals on time.
The updated heat sheets for the 200M will be posted tonight.
Mr. Winston would like to have a coaches meeting tomorrow morning at 8:30. This meeting will be held near the clerk's tent which is located on the visitors sideline near Oak Dr. We will make an announcement over the PA to remind you as well. Please have a rep from your school plan to attend.
