Note that these instructions are on the US Portal and you will have to return to your state site to actually find your team and enter the meet.
Only teams that are members of the Alabama High School Athletic Association are allowed to enter this meet.
Location: Arab City Park, Arab Alabama
Cost: $50 per team, per race (if you have a team in each race, the cost will be $200.00). $10.00 per individual.
7th-9th grade runners may run in the 2 mile or the 5K race.
10th-12th grade runners must run in the 5K race.
Meet Schedule:
Packet Pickup/Warmups- 8:00 a.m.
JV Girls 2 mile- 9:00 a.m. (all grass/dirt trail)
JV Boys 2 mile- 9:30 a.m. (all grass/dirt trail)
Varsity Girls 5K- 10:00 a.m. (grass/dirt/paved trail)
Varsity Boys 5 K- 10:30 a.m. (grass/dirt/paved trail)
Awards- 11:15 a.m.
Awards Ceremony:
Trophies will be awarded to the 1st and 2nd place teams in each race. The top 10 finishers in each race will be recognized.
Concessions:
Concessions will be sold.
T-Shirts:
Meet t-shirts will be sold
Parking:
Please park in the paved parking lots near the walking trail, ball fields, swimming pool or tennis courts.
Admission:
Free Admission for spectators
Start line location:
The start line will be located in the open field north of the horse arena. The finish line will be located in the same general area.
