The 2003 track and field season opens in Alabama on Saturday, January 4, with the Grissom
Early Bird Invitational. |

Affectionately known as "The Barn", Celebration Arena is a racking horse show arena owned by the Racking Horse Breeders Association.
The Barn is equipped with a newly-surfaced 200m, six-lane track oval, elevated runways for long jump and pole vault, shot put ring, and a
plywood high jump apron. Spectators may enjoy seating for 10,000, public restrooms and showers, concessions area with seating, space heaters, and (most importantly) great track & field action! The high school indoor season will continue through the weekend of February 8, concluding with the AHSAA State Championship. The outdoor season will begin for state athletes in March. | |
