The Smith Station Panthers tested their hand against some of the top teams in Florida at the FSU Relays in Tallahassee. It was a hotly contested battle and came down to the final events of the afternoon. But after Daniel Hardge placed 3rd in the Triple Jump (45-5) and a first place finish in the 4x400 (3:19), the school from Alabama eeked out a 51-47 victory over Gainesville High School. Hometown Lincoln High School rounded out the top three.
Quincy Smith was the top performer winning the 400 in 47.50, and anchoring the team's 4x400. It was a total team effort and congratularions to the Smith Station boys on a fantastic performance.
