Webb School of Knoxville - ran very strong over the weekend and currently sit as TN's top team based on a virtual state meet.
· Currently sporting a top 5 all under 19 minutes, and a #1 who has broken 18, the ladies from Knoxville look to be the team to beat entering the weekend.
Brentwood - finished second at the Wingfoot Classic over the weekend.
o From Tennessee, the Bruins are coming off a win at The Southern Showcase and a runner-up finish at The Wingfoot Classic in Georgia.
Chelsea - Dominated the Shelby County meet over the weekend.
· Led by senior Cady McPhail & 8th grader Mia Dunavant, the ladies from Chelsea, AL have continued their early season success and are poised to compete at a high level this weekend.
Auburn - Won the Wingfoot Classic over the weekend defeating Brentwood and many other strong teams in the process.
· Freshman Abby Merner made her season debut to much success leading the Tigers to a close win over the Brentwood girls. The ladies look to continue their Alabama state title defense after claiming their 5th straight 7A championship in 2021.
Harrison - GA's #2 team based on a statewide virtual meet.
o The Harrison girls from Georgia finished second at the Cobb County Championships to current GA #1 Marietta but still averaged a really strong 19:16 for their 1-5.
