What was your most memorable meet and why?
My most memorable meet was the state meet of my Junior year. This was my most
memorable meet because I had to race without my coach by my side because of jealousy. I had to step up and become a leader and good example for my teammates even though I was their little sister. During that track meet we encountered injuries, arguments and some friendships were even ended. We somehow managed to put all of our problems to the side at the end of the meet and ended up breaking our school record, personal record and meet record becoming 4x4 state champions.

When did you face your biggest competition?
I faced my biggest competition this year at indoor state against Chanise Spicer and Jasity White.

Out of all of your high school accomplishments, which stands out the most and why?
The biggest accomplishment that stands out to me the most is when I ran 55 in the 400 meter dash at the Northridge meet. This stands out to me the most because it shows that I can achieve any goal that I want to accomplish. It shows how talented I am and how my hard work finally paid off. It also improved my confidence level and pushed me to work harder.

If you could do it all over again, what would you change about your running career in high school?
I wouldn't change anything about my running career in high school because it made meninto the strong woman I am today. It also gave me an inspiring story to tell others that is thinking about developing in an interest in track and field. This career taught me so much and got me to where I am today.

What were the most difficult obstacles you had to overcome during your HS Track career?
The most difficult obstacles I had to overcome was jealousy and self doubt.

What will you miss the most?
I will miss my teammates, coaches and the look on my teammates and coaches face after we won.

Do you have any advice for younger athletes?
Work hard at all times, never take any practice or game for granted, school comes first, know that you will have bad days, respect your coaches, stay humble, and have fun.

What are your post-highschool or college plans?
My college plans are to break records and win conferences while earning a Bachelor of science degree in nursing to become a Nurse Practitioner

Who would you like to say thank you to?
I would like to say thank you to Dr. Davis for all that he have done for me and my family to make sure that I was successful.
