Rain Delay Doesn't Deter Dauphin Street Vault Turnout

 

The men were the talk of the event with the 3  US Top 25 vaulters in attendance with the US#1 Devin King leading the pack.  The bar opened at 15-6 with King not entering competition until 16-0.  King cleared 18-00 ( a season goal) and promptly shut down his jumping ending the event.  King will be competing next week in the World Junior Track and Field Championships in Eugene, Ore.  Gavin Gautreau competing for New Heights Club was second clearing 16-0, while McGill-Toolen's Sean Collins was third clearing 15-9.
