What was your most memorable meet and why?
King of the West at Northridge in 2022I jumped a personal best and I never thought I could do it

Where did you face your biggest competition?
At the state championship meet in 2022 I was jumping against someone that was very well-trained in triple and long jump.

Out of all of your high school accomplishments, which stands out the most and why?
winning a state championship in hurdles. I started doing hurdles mid-way through the year and didn't know I would be good at it

If you could do it all over again, what would you change about your running career in high school?
I would start sooner... I started running track very late. I was in 10th grade and I wish I was running since middle school... who knows where I would be right now.

What were the most difficult obstacles you had to overcome during your HS Track career?
Getting over an ankle injury it was really bad to where i couldn't walk... it made me want to quit sports as a whole and I lost motivation for the sport

What will you miss the most?
I will most definitely miss my team & coaches

Do you have any advice for younger athletes?
I would say block out all distractions on competition day... something I really wish I did... the smallest inconvenience would throw me off and I hate that for me so much.

What are your post-highschool or college plans? Who would you like to say thank you to?
I will be continuing my athletic and academic career at William Penn University!! I want to thank everyone that believed in me. because i have so much doubt in me but faith overcomes fear. I want to thank Coach Rod for always being there for me when no one wasn't... from the moment I stepped on the track he has been a very good role model to me and he kept me straight... I want to thank my mom for birthing and raising me to be the child I am today... I want to thank my dad and stepmom for being there for me every step of the way throughout this track journey... and most importantly I want to thank God because none of this would be possible without him!! I want to thank Coach Boykin for always being so hard on me and yelling MILE MONDAY!! and I can't forget to thank my family, friends, and teammates!! Its so much that i will never forget about this team. Track and Field has changed my life for the better... My story is not finished and I will forever cherish the moments High School gave me!!
