It is no secret the state of Alabama has been experiencing a drought. The Chickasaw Trails and Jesse Owens meets this season were dry and dusty....very dusty.
Lawrence County Coach and Meet Organizer Stan Johnson sent in some photos of what is happening this week on the state course. Large containers of water are being pulled through the course this week to saturate the trail in order to decrease the "dust factor." While it might not eliminate the problem, they are trying to minimize it!
