Welcome to the Annual Water Under the Bridge Invitation
Coaches Meeting at 8:45!! Field Events start at 9:15am
Facility: Wetumpka Complex and Stadium track is eight lanes and consists of a new rubber surface. All throwing will be done at the Stadium Complex. All spikes must be 1/4 inch or shorter. (Spike Check) Teams will be asked to set up tents on the visitors side stands. No tents will be allowed on the home side stands area or around the fence. No athletes in the competition area unless competing. There is plenty of seating available for spectators. Concession/Vendors available and a hospitality room for coaches. $10 admission and $5 parking
(Parking not included) Teams may sit on the visitor side tents. All teams will enter from HWY 14 by the baseball/softball fields. Spectators may enter on the Home side is on Holtville Hwy. Visitor side on HWY 14.
Directions: From Montgomery: Travel north on Highway 231. When you reach Highway 231 and Highway 14 intersection, turn left onto Coosa River Parkway. Just after you pass over the Coosa River Bridge, turn left into the complex.
From Birmingham: Travel south on I-65. Take the Highway 14 exit (Exit #181). Turn left onto Highway 14 east. In Elmore, Highway 14 turns right at traffic light. When you arrive into Wetumpka, turn left at flashing yellow light onto Coosa River Parkway. Travel approximately 2 miles through two traffic lights and the complex will be on the right.
Equipment: Starting blocks and implements in all field events are supplied. Please bring your own shots, discus, and javelins, and poles but they will become property of the field.

Sanctions: The meet is sanctioned by the AHSAA.
Entry Fee: $300 school max fees plusn $100 b/c team. Checks should be made payable to Wetumpka HS and can be mailed or brought to the meet.
Scoring: Individual Events: 10-8-6-5-4-3-2-1 Relays: 10-8-6-5-4-3-2-1 Field Events: Each jumper/thrower will have three attempts. In the throws and horizontal jumps, the first mark will be measured, and then subsequent throws/jumps must meet the standards below. Middle school will only get two attempts.
Note: Buses will enter on the visitor side of the stadium. Teams will setup tents on the visitor side bleachers. Handicap parking is available near the front of the home/vistor side of the stadium. No athletes, parents, coaches on the infield once meet starts per AHSAA!! There will be assigned coaches boxes.
