Meet Information
Pell City Cross Country will host the SOCON Middle School Championshp on Saturday, October 11th @ LAKESIDE PARK IN CROPWELL!
The Race will be a 2.1 mile event held at Lakeside Park. The location of the Event is 2801 Stemley Brigde Road, Cropwell, AL 35054 (Aproximately 3 miles from Pell City High School).
The Girls race will begin at 8:30am with the Boys Race beginning at 8:55am. The Awards Ceremony will be at 9:20am.
The CHAMPIONSHIP WINNING Team in each Race will receive a Trophy. The Top 5 Finishers in each race will receive a Medal and the Top 15 in each Race will receive a T-Shirt. Our race will be electronically timed.
Lakeside Park is a great venue! The course will be fast, flat mostly, and well marked. The surface is grass, only crossing the asphalt walking paths in a few places. No more than 4-5 steps at each crossing on surface other than grass. Great Parking, the course is spectator friendly, and there are many public restrooms. Great locations for team tents.
The Cost is $75 per gender team or $15 dollars per individual runners, if participating schools do not have enough runners for a team. Member schools with both Boys and Girls teams would pay a maxium of $150 total.
