2025 Marion County Championship Track Meet   

When:  Wednesday, April 2, 2025    9:00am

Where: Hamilton City Track    380 CR 42    Hamilton, AL 35570

Open: All Marion county high school teams and individuals

Concessions: There will be concessions - cash and cards accepted

Seating: There are grandstands on one side for spectators. Lawn chairs are also allowed.

Parking/Restrooms: Due to ongoing construction, some of the parking lot is fenced off. Additional parking is in the grass lot directly across the street from the track. Restrooms still under construction - Porta Potties are available.

Race Format: All events are finals. All Field events will have 3 attempts for each athlete, with top 9 going to finals. Scoring is as follows: 10, 8, 6, 5, 4, 3, 2, 1.

Awards: Top 2 schools will receive a team trophy. Top 3 individuals in each event will receive medals. MVP will be awarded to the top scorer. Relays will split the points.

Schedule of Events:  All Track events will be on a rolling schedule from the 4x800 relay until the 4x400 relay. The boys will follow the girls. Order of events is as follows:

Running Events: 9:00am

• 4x800m relay
• 100/110m hurdles
• 100m dash
• 400m dash
• 1600m run
• 4x100m relay
• 200m dash
• 800m run
• 300m low hurdles
• 3200m run
• 4x400 relay

Field Events: 9:00am

• Discus (W) men to follow
• Long Jump (W) men to follow
• Triple Jump (M) women to follow
• High Jump (M) women to follow
• Javelin (M) women to follow
• Pole Vault (W) men to follow

11:00am

• Shot Put (Men and Women)
