Online Registration Instructions
ALL buses will be directed around the school to the track to drop off athletes and equipment. Buses will then be asked to park at Redemption Church. We will transport the driver back to the track in a golf cart.

AHSAA 6A Section 1 Meet 2025
HEAT SHEETS WILL BE AVAILABLE ONLINE ONLY. THERE WILL NOT BE ANY HEAT SHEETS IN YOUR TEAM PACKETS

Admission: $10 per day Please see attached link at bottom for GoFan instructions. We will also accept cash at the gate. $10 Cash at the gate. Children 5 and under are free.
Coaches Admission: AHSAA Coaches Cards will be required for admission for all coaches. Those without cards will have to pay admission. A Ticket is required for anyone 8 and under.
Timing: FAT timing - Port City Timing-Kevin Jones
Entry Fee: $300 per school ($150 for each gender team); Make all checks payable to Saraland High School. Please bring a check with you to the meet. A receipt will be included in your team packet. ANY TEAM THAT DOES NOT PAY OR SHOW PROOF THAT THEIR CHECK HAS BEEN MAILED WILL NOT BE ALLOWED TO COMPETE IN THE MEET
Online Entries: All entries must be submitted online at al.milesplit.us
Entry deadline: Tuesday, April 22, 2025 at 11:59pm
Entrants: There are 3 entries allowed per school per event for each gender and 1 entries allowed per school per relay for each gender. Athletes are not allowed to compete in more than 4 events total (including relays)
Event Scoring: Open events (Max 3 athletes/school score): 10, 8, 6, 5, 4, 3, 2, 1 Relay events (Max 1 Relay/school scores): 10, 8, 6, 5, 4, 3, 2, 1. All 3 athletes in open events and 1 relay team per school will be scored. Top 3 per event will receive medals.
Field Event Formats:
-SARALAND HIGH SCHOOL WILL PROVIDE ALL SHOT PUTS AND DISCS. PLEASE DO NOT BRING YOUR OWN. THEY WILL NOT BE ALLOWED TO BE USED. YOU MAY BRING YOUR OWN JAVELINS. ALL JAVELINS WILL BE INSPECTED AT THE EVENT BY THE FIELD EVENT JUDGE.
-POLE VAULT VERIFICATIONS FORMS CAN BE FOUND ONLINE AND WILL BE INCLUDED IN YOUR TEAM PACKET. THOSE FORMS MUST BE FILLED OUT AND TURNED IN TO THE THE POLE VAULT OFFICIAL BEFORE THE EVENT BEGINS
PROTEST FORMS WILL ALSO BE PROVIDED IN YOUR PACKETS. THE PROTEST FEE IS $25 CASH. HAVE YOUR RULE BOOK READY. REMEMBER JUDGEMENT CALLS CANNOT BE PROTESTED. A JURY OF APPEALS WILL BE COMPOSED OF 3 COACHES FROM DIFFERENT DIVISIONS AS THE INFRACTION. SUCCESSFUL PROTESTS WILL BE REIMBURSED
Parking: All buses are asked to drop off their athletes and equipment at the gate and then park your bus at Redemption Church
TeamTents: may be set up on the band field that overlooks the track. The check in area will be near the timers tent at the finish line. Restrooms are located behind the concession stand.
Spikes: 1/4 pyramid spikes only
Concessions: Concessions will be sold. We will be selling barbecue plates plus the frios popsicle vendor will be on site each day. All Concessions will be CASH ONLY. Sectionals T-Shirts and Tanks will also be sold by Team IP. They will be $30 each and can be purchased with Cash or Check made out to Team IP.
Coaching Boxes: When coaching at a field event, all coaches must be inside of the coaching box (1 Coach per School)

Please inform parents not to purchase tickets until at least the night before to make sure the weather allows us to compete. If the event is rescheduled, the tickets will still be good if purchased for the original date.
