Meet Information
Start the season right at the Friendly First Chance 2 Miler hosted by Bob Jones High School.
This will be a 2 mile race for both Varsity and JV on a mostly flat, spectator friendly, predominantly grass course.
REGISTRATION INFORMATION
REGISTRATION CLOSES TUESDAY, AUGUST 20th at MIDNIGHT!
- ENTRY FEE: $60 per team Varsity Girls, Varsity Boys, JV Girls, JV Boys. Max fee Per school $240)
- INDIVIDUALS - $12 EACH (LESS THAN 5 ON A TEAM)
- All runners must be attached to an AHSAA school
- ***FEE NOTE*** There will be an additional $100 charge for any school entering more than 50 athletes
- Registration closes on 08/23/2023 at noon.
***NOTE*** The race is NOT at BJHS. It is located at the Sunshine Oaks Disc Golf Course located near Mill Creek Elementary School.
Parking will be at Mill Creek Elementary School - 847 Mill Road. Madison, AL 35758
RACE SCHEDULE
7:00 - 7:45 AM COURSE WALK THROUGH
8:00 AM ROLLING START in the following order:
- Varsity Boys - All Schools (10th - 12th)
- Varsity Girls - All Schools (10th - 12th)
- JV Boys - All Schools (7th - 9th)
- JV Girls - All Schools (7th - 9th)
**Groups may be split into small and large schools based upon registration numbers
Awards Ceremony at the finish line immediately following the JV Girls Race.
AWARDS
- The top 10 runners in all 4 races will receive individual awards.
- Top 3 TEAMS in Varsity and JV will Receive Trophies.
TEAMS MUST BE ALABAMA PUBLIC or PRIVATE SCHOOLS and MEMBERS OF THE AHSAA

Xpress Timing will be providing CHIP timing for the race Please return all timing chips to the registration table at the end of racing. (** $25 fee for each unreturned chip**)
