***More updates/clarifications 9/12/24 - The gray boys race should be the only unlimited entry 5k race on the boys side to allow for those who were planning to race on Friday in the open, and on the girls side that race is the crimson race. JH 2 mile races are unlimited. Gray boys only has 230 entries, while crimson already had nearly 600 before we made the adjustment to Saturday only.
- please do not enter more than 10 in the crimson boys race. I will also let you go up to 8 boys in the blue race.
- please do not enter more than 8 girls in the championship, or more than 10 in the blue girls.
- NO ENTRY changes are necessary with these adjusted parameters. As the pdf attached at the top says, as long as you have them entered, you as their coach can direct them to the correct race based on our guidelines. This is not like track where they are tied to a heat/ lane assignment.
***Weather Update 9/11/24 - ALL high school Friday races will be moved to Saturday. Therefore, there will be NO HS RACES FRIDAY. Saturdays original schedule will not be affected. The boys and girls JH 2 mile races will be added to the end of the meet Saturday. Athletes that were entered in the Open 5k races on Friday should be placed in the Saturday 5k divisions. There are no high school races Friday. Please place them in the Saturday race that makes the most sense for your team based on the time standards in the pdf at the top of the meet page.

*I will annually complete NFHS Sanctioning so that states other than just AL borders can compete. If this applies to you, please contact me directly ASAP.
*Also - ONLY high school attached runners can enter. No unattached runners or club teams are eligible.
*Furthermore, only schools that are members of their respected state associations are eligible to participate & a team staffed & certified coach must register and travel with the athlete(s) to the meet and be in attendance through their competition. The account to pay when using Venmo is HHS-XC -- you need to list your full team name, city and state, an email address, and the purpose of payment otherwise there will be a delay getting you the password.

Entry Fee system for 2024:
$100 for championship divisions
$75 for blue, crimson, gray
$10 per athlete for unlimited entry divisions - junior high and open
The city of Huntsville will be providing an awards stage. We will begin with the earlier races & begin each division as results are reported.

10:55 - Junior High boys 2 mile- unlimited entry for 7-9th grade boys ONLY
11:15 AM - Junior High girls 2 mile - unlimited entry for 7-9th grade girls ONLY
9:35 AM - Awards will begin & be on a rolling schedule as results are provided and run in the same order as race schedule.
Saturday awards ceremony schedule will follow the race schedule in 2024
Blue Boys - top 15 individuals get shirts, top 3 get medals
Blue Girls - top 15 individuals get shirts, top 3 get medals
Crimson Girls - top 15 individuals get shirts, top 3 get medals
Crimson Boys - top 15 individuals get shirts, top 3 get medals
Gray Boys - top 10 individuals get shirts, top 3 get medals
Championship Girls - top 20 individuals get shirts, top 3 get medals
Championship Boys - top 20 get individuals get shirts, top 3 get medals
Championship - 7-12th grades eligible - Top 5 teams will get a trophy and be recognized. Boys can enter 7, girls up to 8.
Blue - 7-12th grades eligible. Boys can enter 7, girls up to 10.
Crimson - 7-12th grades eligible. 10 entries max for guys, & unlimited for girls.
Gray - unlimited boys entry with change to Saturday only in 2024
