MEET REGISTRATION: on-line only through alabamarunners.com. Entries open on Monday, Mar 14th and close at 11:59 PM (CST) on Thursday, April 6th, 2017. 5 athletes per individual event. 2 Relays per 4x100 & 4x400. You may enter up to 7 in the 1600m & 3200m. Boys & Girls 3200m may be combined. 2 athletes score per event towards team title.

ENTRY FEE: $100 per gender per school. Make checks out to SFHS. Please do not mail check, bring to meet.

SPECTATOR FEE: $5 Admission at the Gate.

RULES: The rules of the AHSAA and National Federation will be followed.

SCORING: 8 places will be scored (10-8-6-5-4-3-2-1).

AWARDS: Ribbons will be awarded to the top 3 M/F finishers in each event. 1st & 2nd place Trophies will be given to the championship teams in each gender.

SCRATCHES & SUBSTITUTIONS: Scratches are requested prior to the meet at the coaches meeting. Substitutes are allowed where entries have been made. Requests for late additions or inadvertent omissions will be referred to the timer/scorer. Sections and flights WILL NOT be rearranged to accommodate late additions or coachs omissions.

EVENT OFFICIALS: Spanish Fort will have Meet Officials and volunteers working together to run the meet; however, we do ask that each team provide at least 1 volunteer to assist with the field events.

CONCESSIONS: Concessions will be available, in a limited capacity.

PARTICIPATION LIMITATIONS: By AHSAA rules, each participant is limited to a maximum of four (4) events. 5 athletes per event per school per gender. 7 entries per team may be allowed in the 1600m & 3200m.

SPIKES: Spike length may not exceed on running and jumping surfaces. Rubber-soled shoes will be required in both the shot put and discus events.

3 Jumps/Throws in field events, Except Pole Vault and High Jump. Throws will be 2 & 1. Best of 1st 2 throws will measured. No measure if 3rd throw does not meet minimum mark. No Finals. 1st jumps will be measured. No measures for jumps 2 & 3 if minimum mark is not met. No finals.
