This invitational is limited to the first 14 teams to register. Concessions will be available at the meet, and events will begin at 8:00 AM. Spectator admission is $5/person.
The 1st Annual Clements Colt Invitational Track Meet will take place at Blue Springs Elementary School on Saturday, March 2, 2013. The 400m track has an asphalt surface. There will be volunteers to assist with parking at the meet, and buses will be asked to park in a line on the circular drive behind the school. The Clements High School Athletic Association will provide concessions at this event, and a hospitality room will be available for head coaches. A coaches' meeting will be held at 7:30 a.m., and events will start at 8:00 a.m. This is a Varsity event only; thus, no JV athletes will be allowed to compete. Each athlete will be eligible to enter a maximum of 4 events. Trophies will be awarded to both the 1st and 2nd place VG/VB teams (4 trophies total), and medals will be awarded for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place in each event (108 medals total).
We will use an integrated software system and timing system to upload athletes and their events for the meet; thus, coaches should register each athlete in all his/her events on the meet website at www.al.milesplit.com no later than Wednesday, February 27, 2013. This will be the freeze date, and rosters for each event will be uploaded for scoring purposes at that time.
Entry fees are $50 per team (VG/VB), and $100 per school.
Admission is $5/person.
