BIRMINGHAM, Ala. - Louisiana Tech All-American Chelsea Hayes captured two events to lead the Lady Techster indoor track and field team at the season opener at the UAB Blazer Invite at Birmingham Crossplex Arena Friday.
BIRMINGHAM, Ala. – Veteran Southeastern Louisiana athletes turned in solid performances Friday at the UAB Blazer Invitational in Birmingham, Ala., and the McNeese Indoor I in Lake Charles, La.
Underclassmen Ricy Brown and Stephon Pamilton led the way for the Wildcats, as they wrapped up competition Friday afternoon at the UAB Blazer Invite. B-CU faced very stiff southern competition at the Birmingham Crossplex Arena, but some performances from newcomers shined brightly out of the second indoor meet of the season, with the Wildcat men turning in the highest marks.
