Star Trackers Track & Field Club will be hosting the Baker Concrete/Greyco Ltd. 11th “Star Performers Track Classic 2014”, on Saturday, February 1st.  The meet will take place at the Thomas A. Robinson Track & Field Stadium at the Queen Elizabeth Sports Center.

The Gainesville Sports Commission is proud to announce the running of the 7th edition of the Jimmy Carnes Indoor Track and Field Meet on Friday, January 17th  and Saturday, January 18th at the Stephen C. O’Connell Center. The College/Open will be contested on Friday, January 17th and the Youth on Saturday, January 18.

The Kentucky Track & Cross Country Coaches Association presented its annual All-State Awards on the awards stage at the Kentucky State Cross Country Championships on November 9, 2013.  Below are the names of the young men and women announced and presented with medals on that day.  If you were not present to receive your medal, please contact Jonathan Grooms at kytrackxc@gmail.com.

List of athletes for the CCYNC Championship at Tom Sawyer Park this Saturday.

TERRE HAUTE, Ind. – Boise State junior Emma Bates captured the prestigious 2013 ISU Pre-National Invitational women’s 6-kilometer blue race title, Saturday morning, leading the Bronco women to an 11th-place finish (443-points). 

The SAA released the cross country Runners of the Week for events raced September 30 - October 1 and Ryan James of Berry claimed the men's honor while Hannah Ellis of Centre won the women's award.

Follow junior cross country runner Cody Haden through an average day as a student-athlete at the University of West Florida. Haden wore a GoPro camera for an entire day to show what it is like to be an NCAA student-athlete.

Ashley El Rady of the Centre women's cross country team was named Female Runner of the Week by the Southern Athletic Association for events held through September 7th.

The FHSAA is proud to announce that the partnership with the University of North Florida has been extended through the 2015 year. As part of the agreement, the FHSAA Track and Field Finals is moving to a one-weekend format in which the state meet for all four classifications will be held, with two classifcations competing each day. This new format will allow spectators to see more track and field action and provide a larger crowd for the all student-athletes involved. 

Ben Saarel began his Collegiate career with a win this weekend at the Univesity of Colorados home opener. 

The West Florida men’s cross country team has added two newcomers to the roster this fall, and both are hometown products from Pensacola. Sophomore Don Kerrigan, a graduate of Pensacola Catholic High School, transferred to UWF after competing at Maine during his freshman season. He will be joined by fellow Pensacola native Alec Clark, an incoming freshman from West Florida High School.

The Northern Illinois track & field team has added Vince Bingham to its staff as an assistant coach, NIU Director of Track & Field/Cross Country Connie Teaberry announced Thursday.

NORMAN, Okla. -- The University of Oklahoma track and field program has added another member to its staff as Jason Dunn has been named the Associate Head Cross Country Coach/Assistant Track & Field Coach, OU head coach Jim VanHootegem announced Saturday. (via oklahoma.scout.com)
