NEW YORK - Returning for its 104th edition, the Millrose Games in 2011 will give one of its greatest stars his biggest challenge and will feature the most heated national sprint rivalry in the world.
The 104th Millrose Games will be contested Friday, January 28, 2011 at Madison Square Garden. The first event of USA Track & Field's Visa Championship Series, the Millrose Games will be televised live from 8-10 p.m. Eastern Time on ESPN2.
INDIANAPOLIS - Robin Reynolds has been named USA Track & Field's Athlete of the Week after winning gold medals in the 400m and mixed medley relay last week at the Youth Olympic Games at Singapore's Bishan Stadium.
Florida athletes Robin Reynolds and Tynia Gaither started out the week competing for and winning medals for different countries. Tynia won silver representing her native the Bahamas, while Reynolds earned gold for the USA. They ended the week competing together on an international mixed medley relay for "Team Americas" and taking home gold.

Already holding the title of the fastest youth ever over the 110-meter hurdles, Wayne Davis (Raleigh, N.C.) is now the fastest junior athlete ever in the 110m hurdles. Having already run a world junior leading 13.19 in the first round, Davis shot out of the blocks and into the lead accelerating all the way down the track to win in a pending world junior record time of 13.08 seconds. The previous record of 13.12 was set in 2002 by 2004 Olympic gold medalist Liu Xiang. 2008 World Junior silver medalist Booker Nunley (Columbia, S.C.) once again claimed silver in 13.32.

Longtime USA Track & Field volunteer and contributor Bob Fine of Delray Beach, Fla., was struck and killed by a car while running at 5:45 a.m. In Reno, police confirmed Wednesday morning. Fine, 77, was in Reno to attend USATF's 2008 Annual Meeting.
