Rollin' Nolan! » Less than a week after signing a scholarship with one of the top collegiate track programs in the nation, Scottsboro senior Daniel Nolan scored three personal bests (all school and meet records) and five wins at his final home invitational at Trammell Stadium in Scottsboro. Primarily a hurdler, Nolan won handily in the 110m and 300m distances with respective times of 14.29 and 37.73 seconds. Also anchoring Scottsboro's winning 4x100m relay team and taking first in the long jump, the surprise performance of the meet was his 48.42-second clocking in his first open 400m race of the outdoor season. |
