Montgomery Academy's varsity girls team opened the 2005 cross country season with a perfect score of 15 at the Wiregrass Invitational in Enterprise. Caroline and Sara Wool finished 1st and 2nd, just a second apart in 20:19 and 20:20, respectively. Sophia James and Molly McLemore followed in 3rd and 4th, both running 20:43 for the 5K course, and Jenny Wool was the fifth from her team and third from her family to cross the line, taking 5th in 20:49.
