This Week's Nominees:
Jennings Hinz, Northridge High School (Alabama): Won the long jump at the Homewood Invitational with a leap of 23-10.25, defeating a field of 51 competitors.
Adrian Williams, Greensboro High School (Alabama): Cleared 6-9 to win the high jump at the Demopolis and UWA Tiger Invitational, a massive PR that improved from his previous best of 6-2 set in March.
Nigel Thomas, Hoover (Alabama): Put up 57-2 in the shot put to capture first place at the Homewood Invitational, besting 70 other throwers. The junior ranks as the top underclassman in Alabama in the event.
Cameron August, Hoover (Alabama): Clocked 48.38 in the 400 meters at New Balance Nationals Indoor, earning him a #35 national ranking out of 1,000 competitors.
Damian Reese, Hoover (Alabama): Jumped 48-1.75 in the triple jump at New Balance Nationals Indoor, good for #11 nationally among 1,000 athletes.
