Over 2500 runners from Alabama, Mississippi, Georgia, Tennessee, and Florida gathered in Oakville for the 6th Annual Jesse Owens Classic on Saturday.

On the men's side, Brentwood Academy's (TN) Andrew Bumbalough led an out-of-state sweep of the first four individual spots with a time of 15:20. Jeffery Rhodes of Florence was the top Alabama runner at 16:06, good enough for 5th place.
