Josiah Harry ends HS career as AAU All-American

Mobile Christian's Josiah Harry ended his prep career over the weekend as an AAU All-American.  Harry threw 184-4 in the Discus 59-4 in the Shotput at the AAU Junior Olympics to take 2nd in each event.  

Harry ends his time as a high school athlete as one of the most successful throwers in Alabama history.

  • First 8th Grader to win a State Championship in the Discus
  • 2019-2020 Gatorade (Alabama) Track &  Field Athlete of the Year
  • 2020 AHSAA Athlete of the Week
  • Threw 64ft in the Shotput to break a 43 year old "All Classification" record for the state of Alabama.
  • New Balance Track & Field All-American
  • Recruited by 39 collegiate track programs (35 of which were D1)
  • 8 Sectional, 7 State, and 1 National Championship
  • 44 meet / venue records
