On the Hunt in Huntsville at the Twilight Panther Prowl

In recent years the Huntsville Girls have made a statement that the Rocket City can be a major player in 7A Cross Country.  This year with the Huntsville Boys having early success at Chickasaw Trails, teams from across the state are making the trip to hunt down the Panthers on their home turf.
The meet should have huge implications for the Top 10 Teams List we will release next week.  


BOYS: With Huntsville's Boys going up against Scottsboro, Hewitt, & Vestavia, we will quickly see
if it was a one time fluke or if the guys have staying power this season. 


GIRLS: Although Huntsville's Girls might be the defending 7A State Champion, they are going up against an Auburn team that is one of the best our state has seen in recent years.  The Baylor school from Tennessee also make the trip to Huntsville to likely break in to the Top 3.  
INDIVIDUALS: Mary Claire Ridgeway (Florence) and Samantha Rogers (Auburn) go head to head for the first time this season.  This will be an interesting race since Ridgeway has never come out victorious against Rogers but holds the fastest time in the state so far.  Is this the race that all changes?  Check our our Head to Head Comparison.
