Hoover senior Brittley Humphrey put on a show in the hurdles on Saturday evening at the Mobile Challenge of Champions. The LSU signee scorched the track at St. Paul's Episcopal nearly breaking both meet records in the girls hurdles with national class times.
In her first race, Humphrey rolled in the girls 100 meter hurdles of the invitational division with a US #5 clocking of 13.62. A significant PR for Humphrey who had a big PR just last weekend in winning the FSU Relays in 13.62. She just missed the meet record by two hundredths of a second!
Later in the 300 meter hurdles, Humphrey joined her big brother Marlon Humphrey as a meet record holder in the event as she shattered a nine year old record by half a second with a US #3 victory of 41.63.
