DUNN DOMINATES INDOOR HURDLES
CORY DUNN INDOOR TRACK 2007.
Cory Dunn, a Senior at Vestavia Hills Hill High School, dominated the 55 Meter Hurdles with 8 first place wins in preliminary and final races.
State indoor track started January 6 and followed each consecutive weekend in Priceville at the Celebration Barn. The Vestavia Hills team participated the on January 6, 13 and 20. They took the weekend of January 27 off and came back to compete in State Finals on Feb 2 and 3.
Dunn came in first in all preliminaries in 55 Meter Hurdles with a times of 7.95, 7.87 and a 7.87. In finals he placed first with a 7.92, 7.86 and a 7.91.
At State finals Dunn had a personal best with a time of 7.77. He took home the title of 6A State 55 meter Hurdle Champion with a final time of 8.0.
