What was your most memorable meet and why?
Every meet is special and is an opportunity to do well in. Of course the bigger meets offer more competition, but there will always be competition anywhere you go.
Where did you face your biggest competition?
The Birmingham Meets offered the most competition because they were all really fast.
Out of all of your high school accomplishments which stands out the most and why?
Participating and being chosen to fly a jet in ROTC was an awesome experience.
If you could do it all over again what would you change about your running career in high school?
would have started earlier then 9th grade and trained harder in the offseason.
What were the most difficult obstacles you had to overcome?
Track and Cross Country workouts are really tough, but that feeling you get when you get better and better every meet is awesome and can only be felt with some hard work and dedication.
What will you miss the most?
The competition and my friends I’ve made throughout the whole journey.
Do you have any advice for younger athletes?
To practice hard every day and hard work will pay off in the end.
What are your post-highschool or college plans?
Go to college and be a vet or lawyer and possible run in college.
Who would you like to say thank you to?
I want to thank my coaches and family for supporting me the four years I’ve done this sport, because without them pushing me I would not be where I am today.
