Below you can find athletes selected to the 2016 All-MileSplit Alabama Girls Outdoor Track & Field Team. First, second, and third team selections for each event. No athlete is selected for more than one event.

100m Dash


Lauryn Hall (Sparkman) finished AL#2 in the 100m Dash with an 11:91 at the Hewitt-Trussville Invitational.  She returns in 2017 to defend her 7A State Championship in the event.

Woodlawn's Jayla Kirkland continued her dominance in the sprint in 2016.  She won the 200m at New Balance Outdoor Nationals with a new PR of 23.15.  She finished 2016 with a US#3 ranking. (Photo by Photo Run)

Presley Weems (Hoover) had a huge senior season with 800m wins at the Mobile Challenge of Champions and the 7A State Meet.  She finished 3rd at the New Balance Outdoor Nationals with a 2:06.87.  The time places her as the all-time AL#1 girl in the 800m.  (Photo by Tim Loreman)

Brittley Humphrey finished her senior year as the all-time AL#1 100m Hurdler.  The Hoover graduate had several big wins including a 13.24 at Mt. Sac, Brooks PR, and the 7A Alabama State Championship.

Long Jump

Emily Frederick (Hokes Bluff) is one of the top paralympic throwers in the nation.  Frederick is a seven time state para-ambulatory track and field champion in the 100m, shot put, discus, and javelin.  She recently signed with Penn State. (Photo by Tim Loreman)
