All running events will be competed as finals.
All running events will begin at 10:00am.
The track will be closed for all warm-ups at 9:45am.
All athletes must check in with the clerk of the course on time and be in uniform. Failure to do so may constitute in a disqualification.

FIELD EVENTS
There are no FINALS!
All throws will be 2 & 2.
Each athlete will have 3 attempts in long/triple jump.
All shots, discus, and javelins will be weighed in.

TEAM SCORING
All events will be scored 10-8-6-5-4-3-2-1, including relays.
JV will not be scored, nor will times be posted for JV. It is your responsibility to get your athletes times for the JV events.
Team Awards: Team plaques to the 1st and 2nd place Varsity teams.
No Individual Awards will be given.
ENTRY
All entries will be made on-line at www.alabamarunners.com.
You may enter three athletes per event (excpet in Long and Triple Jump; two athletes for those events).
You may enter one relay team per event.
Scratches and substitutes must be made at the coachs meeting. Substitutes can be made only where entries have been placed.****Automatic timing system (FAT)****
Fee: $60 per team, $120 for both boys and girls. Make checks payable to CHCA.
Deadline: Entries must be entered no later than midnight on February 23.
Admission: Please inform your parents that the admission is $5/adult, $3/student.
MINIMUM STANDARDS
These marks are the minimum standards for measurement, however, each athlete will have at least one measured distance from his/her first attempt. All throws/jumps for each succeeding attempt must pass the minimum standard mark in order to receive a measurement.
Girl's Throws: Shot(27), Discus(70), Javelin(75)
Girl's Jumps: Long Jump(13 6), Triple Jump(27)
Boy's Throws: Shot(37), Discus(100), Javelin(120)
Boy's Jumps: Long Jump(18), Triple Jump(36)
NOTE: These marks may be adjusted the day of the meet. Coaches will be notified of these changes at the coachs meeting.
STARTING HEIGHT
These marks are the minimum height for which these events will start.
Girl's: High Jump( 4 4), Pole Vault(6)
Boy's: High Jump(5 6), Pole Vault(7)

Coaches meeting will be at 8:45AM at the starting line.
You may pay your entries at the registration table.
You will pick up a packet with heat sheets, order of events, and sponsorship information.
MEET RESULTS
All results will be posted the day of at www.cottagehillrunners.com and will be submitted to Alabama Runners.
MEET SHIRTS
We will have meet shirts. They will be $15 each. We will have all sizes between small and 3XL.
CONCESSIONS
Theodore Track and Field will sponsor the concession.
There will be hospitality tent for coaches, volunteers, and officials only.
