Baldwin County Championships 2026

Date: Monday, April 6th, 2026



Location: Either SFHS Track or Founders Park in Fairhipe (TBD)


Time: Coaches Meeting will be at 3:45 PM at the check-in tent.
Events will begin at 4:15 PM


DO NOT ARRIVE BEFORE 3:30 - ARRIVE THROUGH STAGECOACH ROAD OFF HWY 31 


Admission: Admission is $10. All Tickets must be purchased on GoFan or Cash at Gate.



Entry Fee: $400 Per School

Entries: Maximum of 3 entries per event per school for all events. Maximum of 1 entry for Relay Teams.*Only 1 Relay team per school may score per each relay event.

Athletes may enter up to 4 events total, including relays.

Deadline for Entries: Thursday, April 2nd at 11:00pm

Awards: Trophies will be awarded to the top 2 boys' teams and top 2 girls' teams. Medals will be awarded for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place teams of each event and relay. Houston Young Most Outstanding Performer awards for track performance and field performance for each gender.



Rules: All AHSAA & National Federation rulebook guidelines apply for any rule disputes.

Scoring: Individual:10-8-6-5-4-3-2-1 Relays: 10-8-6-5-4-3-2-1

Appeals: Any appealable offense of a misapplication of an AHSAA rule must be given to the Meet Director in writing accompanied with a $25 fee with 30 minutes of the infraction. If the appeal is upheld the appeal fee will be refunded. Reminder that an official's judgment call is not appealable.


Field Events: All first legal attempts will be measured. After that, the minimum standard will be used. Each Jumper/Thrower will have 4 attempts (excluding vertical jumps) with no finals. Throws will be a 2+2 format, measuring the better of the two that meet the standard.

*Awards will be presented immediately after each girls' and boys' event. The top three contestants need to report to the awards 'podium at the conclusion of the race/event.
