Athens Bible's 49th Cross-Country Invitational
WHEN: Saturday, October 18
WHERE: Athens Sportsplex, Athens Alabama. One mile north of the Athens High School Football Stadium on US Hwy 31. Also, the Sportsplex is .7 mile south of the I-65 exit 354. Parking Fee: $5.00 per car; Buses - free
COURSE: The course will be flat and fast. Excellent Spectator course! The city has put crushed gravel on some of the course. We changed the course last year to take advantage of all the ballfield lights so it includes approximately 1/2 mile of concrete/asphalt for the varsity race and less than that for the JV race. We suggest that your runners use racing flats.

SCHEDULE:
6:00 pm. Jr. Var. Girls and Boys 2-mile (grades 7 - 9 only)
6:30 pm. 1A-3A Varsity Girls
7:00 pm. 4A-7A Varsity Girls
7:30 pm. 1A-3A Varsity Boys
8:00 pm. 4A-7A Varsity Boys
There will be 8 separate divisions scored.
1A-3A JVG, 4A-7A JVG, 1A-3A VG, 4A-7A VG
1A-3A JVB, 4A-7A JVB, 1A-3A VB, 4A-7A VB
AWARDS: T-shirts to the Top 15 in each var. division; Top 10 in each JV division. Award to the top 3 individuals in each division.
Team Trophies to the Top 3 teams in each Varsity division, and Top 2 teams in each Junior Varsity division.
Awards can be picked up after the results of each race are posted.
ENTRY FEE: $15 per Junior Varsity runners (grades 7-9 only), $20 per Varsity runners.
**Max $90.00 for each Varsity team. Max $75.00 for each Junior Varsity team.
The Athens Parks and Recreation Sportsplex has plenty of parking and restroom facilities. Concession stand will be open!
