*Minimums may be used in field events depending on the number of entries, and there will be three attempts with no finals. Pole Vault will go up in 1 increments until there are 8 athletes remaining.

CONCESSIONS: The concession stand will be open and will serve a variety of options. 

ENTRIES AND SCORING: Teams are allowed unlimited entries in field events but minimums will be used after the first legal mark. Only the top 3 individuals and one relay team from each team can score. There is traditional scoring with the top 8 in each event scoring points. 

ENTRY DEADLINE: All entries are due Sunday, March 19th at 1:00 p.m. 

HOSPITALITY: Coaches will be provided an evening meal

TIMING AND RESULTS: The maximum entry fee is $400 for each school, which includes both the boys and girls entry fee. $15 per athlete and $10 per relay until the maximum is reached.

Checks should be made payable to Thompson High School and either brought to the meet or mailed to: Thompson High School Mason Dye 1921 Warrior Parkway Alabaster Alabama 35007. Xpress Timing will be timing the meet.

Timing is charged based on the number of entries so therefore schools are expected to pay the amount showing on their invoice at the time the entries close whether they compete or not. Schools not planning to compete should remove their entries prior to the entry window closing.

EVENT CHECK IN: Track Athletes - check in at the starting line for each event. Athletes should check line results online prior to reporting to the line and should know their heat and lane.  Hip numbers will be available at the tent on the infield for applicable events. All athletes in the 800m, 1600m, and the last legs of the 4x400m will pick up their hip numbers prior to reporting to the line. Field Athletes - Report to the events head official when the event check in opens, and make sure to come back before your flight if there are multiple flights. 

WARM UP AREA: Athletes will be able to warm up in any areas that are not marked off. Finals Only (all events): There are no prelims in any event, and running event heats will be seeded best to worst. 

AWARDS: Trophies will be given to the first and second team in each division. 

RULES AND SANCTIONING: The National High School Federation rules will be in effect, and the meet is sanctioned for the AHSAA schools in attendance.
