Awards will be given to the top 3 schools and top 3 individuals in all events. Middle school teams are welcome to compete in the MS divisions only. (7th-8th grade)Start Time: 9AM. (Saturday) Rain or Shine we are RUNNING!

New Wetumpka Complex and Stadium track is eight lanes and consists of rubber surface. All throwing will be thrown at Wetumpka HS practice field. All spikes must be 1/4 inch or shorter. Teams will be asked to set up tents in designated areas. No tents will be allowed in the stands area. No athletes in the competition area unless competing. There is plenty of seating available for spectators. 

Equipment: Starting blocks and implements in all field events are supplied but teams are encouraged to bring your own implements. Coaches please  bring your own shots, discus, and javelins, and poles but they will become property of the field. Needed 6lb shot for MSG

Entry Deadline: The Entry deadline is April 8th at 11p.m. No entries will be taken after that time!

Sanctions: The meet is sanctioned by the AHSAA.

Entry Fee: $150.00 per team entered and $300 school max fees.  $20 each athlete if team is less than 10. $20 each relay event. Checks should be made payable to Wetumpka HS and can be mailed or brought to the meet.

Scoring: Individual Events: 10-8-6-5-4-3-2-1 Relays: 10-8-6-5-4-3-2-1 Field Events: Each jumper/thrower will have three attempts. In the throws and horizontal jumps, the first mark will be measured, and then subsequent throws/jumps must meet the standards listed. Middle School will have only 2 attempts

Directions:

From Montgomery: Travel north on Highway 231. When you reach Highway 231 and Highway 14 intersection, turn left onto Coosa River Parkway. Just after you pass over the Coosa River Bridge, turn left into the complex.

From Birmingham: Travel south on I-65. Take the Highway 14 exit (Exit #181). Turn left onto Highway 14 east. In Elmore, Highway 14 turns right at traffic light. When you arrive into Wetumpka, turn left at flashing yellow light onto Coosa River Parkway. Travel approximately 2 miles through two traffic lights and the complex will be on the right.
