Registration: This meet is only for schools located in Montgomery County. Schools are required to provide a coach to help work events.
When: Tuesday & Wednesday, April 19-20, 2022
Where: Montgomery Academy
Time: 4:00 PM, Coaches Meeting at 3:40 PM
Entry Fee: $125 per Team or $250 per School. This payment is a one time fee for all 4 of the Monday MAdness meets! Make checks payable to Montgomery Academy. If mailing it to the school: C/O Ethan McBride Montgomery Academy 3240 Vaughn Road Montgomery, AL 36106 or bring the check to the meet.
Entry Deadline: Sunday, April 17 at 5:00 PM
Entry Guidelines: Entries must be submitted on al.milesplit.com by April 17, 2022. This is going to be ran just like sectionals. Athletes can participate in a total of four events. Max of 4 Athletes per individual event and only 1 relay team per school. Jumpers also limited to a max of 3. Some events will have prelims, see below for details.
Substitutions: No substitutions will be allowed on the day of the meet. Print your entries as verification.
Scoring: 10-8-6-5-4-3-2-1
Spectators: Tickets are $5 per day. Can pay with cash or GoFan.
Parking: The track is located across from the Main Campus. There is limited parking on the side of the track. If parking is unavailable then there is extra parking on the campus side. Please use the bridge to cross the road.
Buses: Buses will be directed to enter towards the track and then bend to the right up by the baseball field. From there a gate will be opened to allow buses to park in a field up above the track.
Tents: Placement of tents is on a first come first serve basis. Tents must be located on the grass areas.
Concessions will be available.
Field Events: Each jumper/thrower will have 3 attempts with the top 9 advancing from the trials to the finals. In the throws and horizontal jumps, the
first mark will be measured, and then subsequent throws must meet the standards below.
