Athens Bible's 44th Cross-Country Invitational
Timing/Results: Chip timing by Solid Rock Race Timing
WHEN: Tuesday, October 20th
WHERE: Athens Sportsplex, Athens Alabama. One mile north of the Athens High School Football Stadium on US Hwy 31. Also, the Sportsplex is .7 mile south of the I-65 exit 354.
PARKING: $5.00 per car; NO fee for team buses.
COURSE: Same course as last year. The course will be flat and fast. Excellent Spectator course! We do NOT recommend spikes.
SCHEDULE:
4:00 Small School Girls, Varsity & JV - 5K Scored Separately
4:25 Large School Girls, Varsity & JV - 5K Scored Separately
4:50 Small School Boys, Varsity & JV - 5K Scored Separately
5:15 Large School Boys, Varsity & JV - 5K Scored Separately
There will be 8 separate divisions scored.
A-3A JVG, 4A-7A JVG, A-3A VG, 4A-7A VG
A-3A JVB, 4A-7A JVB, A-3A VB, 4A-7A VB
AWARDS: T-shirts to the Top 15 in each var. division; Top 10 in each JV division.
Award to the top 3 individuals in each division.
Team Trophies to the Top 3 teams in each Varsity division, and Top 2 teams in each JV division.
COACHES can pick up their runners' t-shirt, medals and team trophies at the registration pavillion after the results of each race are posted.
ENTRY FEE:
$70.00 for each Varsity team (10 max).
$60.00 for each Junior Varsity team (unlimited).
$15.00 per individual entry (teams with less than 5 runners in a race).
T-SHIRTS: Special dri-fit T-shirts will be sold.
FACILITIES: The Athens Parks and Recreation Sportsplex has plenty of parking and restroom facilities. Concession trailer will be on site!
