Meet Information
This meet is at the Wilson school campus (7601 Hwy 17, Florence, AL 35634).
Since this is a normal school day, the course will open at 3:20 pm, after normal school traffic clears.
We have seen many good races and close finishes in the past few years, and we expect more exciting performances this year. The course has grass and dirt trails with some packed gravel. It passes through wooded areas and across practice fields and playgrounds and features an exciting finish in the stadium on an asphalt track. Because the course features a repeated loop, spectators can see their racers several times from a seat in the stadium bleachers, or they may move from place to place.
Spectator admission is $5 for adults and $4 for students.
Concessions and shirts will be available for sale.

3:20 pm-- Course opens and packet pickup
4:25- National Anthem
4:30- Junior High Boys 2 mile
4:50- Junior High Girls 2 mile
5:15- Varsity Boys 5K
5:45- Varsity Girls 5K
Awards in stadium
Junior high runners must be 7th - 9th graders. Sixth graders are not allowed to run.
All junior high teams will compete in the same division.
Varsity results will be split into two divisions.
1A-3A: Small school division (297 students or less in grades 10-12)
4A-7A: Large school division (298 students or more in grades 10-12)
Schools that participate must be members of their state's high school athletic association. We are a member of the AHSAA. Out-of-state private schools will multiply their enrollment in grades 10-12 by 1.35 to determine division.
The top 10 individual finishers in each division will receive a t-shirt.
In addition, the top 3 finishers in each race division will receive an award.
The top 2 teams in each division in girls and boys will receive a trophy. You must have at least 5 runners to compete for team points.
