Two-Mile Tune Up Invitational

Veteran Park Back Side - Students will begin near the lake, run behind pavilion and proceed through the tunnel. Athletes will remain on the trail (marked course) going up the hill and coming back through the tunnel. Finish line will be behind the volleyball courts.

4:30 pm...Middle School Girls (approx 2.0 mi)

5:00 pm...Middle School Boys (approx 2.0 mi)

5:30 pm...Elementary (Open) meet (approximately 1.0 mile)

Awards to follow - Only for Middle School Races. No awards for Elementary (Open) race

Entries:

The entry fee is $70 per school per individual race i.e. a school who has a Girls team and a Boys team would pay $140. Check payable to Bumpus Middle School Cross Country. Entry fees are to be mailed to:

If you are bringing a team less than 7 runners per gender, the cost is $15.00 per athlete with a maximum of $70.00 per gender per team.

Go to www.alabamarunners.com. Choose the meet under the Calendar heading. Click on the button and follow the instructions. Deadline for Entry is Sunday, September 24 at 5:00 am Central.

Awards:

The Top 2 teams per race will receive a Team Trophy

The Top 10 individuals will receive Medals and a T-Shirt

Grass and fine to loose pack gravel pathways. Some concrete (sidewalks and road crossing)
