Mountain Brook girls, Hoover boys dominate

The Mountain Brook girls and Hoover boys dominated competition again Saturday at the Husky Challenge, hosted by Hewitt-Trussville
High School. Neither team has lost to an in-state competitor yet this season.

Mountain Brook's girls scored just 24 points, while the Hoover guys took spots 1-4 and 8th to finish with 18, just three away from perfection.

Home town runner Brooke Deason took the individual girls championship, followed closely by Mountain Brook's Ashley Archer, Caroline Owens, and Katherine Archer.
Individually for boys, Hoover sophomore Robert Bedsole ran away from teammates Phillip Moore, Scott Novack, and Jamie Oliver to finish in a personal and team best 15:49.
