Southland Conference Indoor Championships 2014

BIRMINGHAM, Ala. – The New Orleans Privateers track and field team battled through a tough day at the conclusion of the Southland Conference Indoor Championships in Birmingham, Alabama on Thursday.

BIRMINGHAM, Alabama – Jasmine Webb notched her named in the school record book for the second in as many days at the 2014 Southland Conference Indoor Track and Field Championships when she set a school record in the 60-meter dash for the second straight day and finished third in the event.  

BIRMINGHAM – Northwestern State standouts Justin Walker and Emmanuel Williams completed sweeps of their specialties Thursday while Lady Demons Por'sha Thomas andTaylor Walker posted a surprising 1-2 finish in the women's triple jump on the final day of the Southland Conference Indoor Track and Field Championships.

BIRMINGHAM, Ala. – Junior Tessni Carruthers ran a sub-five minute mile for the second straight meet to earn second place and the distance medley team recorded its second-fastest time in program history to finish third, as Nicholls State University women's track team completed its indoor season at the 2014 Southland Conference Indoor Track and Field Championships, held Wednesday and Thursday at the Birmingham CrossPlex.

BIRMINGHAM, Ala. – The Southeastern Louisiana University track and field teams wrapped up the 2014 Southland Conference Indoor Track and Field Championships Thursday at the Birmingham CrossPlex, as the men's squad claimed the conference title.
