Directions:
Exit 73 off of Interstate 20/59 in Alabama. Then take a right (if coming from Birmingham) on McFarland Blvd. west. Go approximately 5.25 miles and make a right turn onto Watermelon Road. Go 2 miles, make a right turn at Old Colony Road. Go approximately .3 mile taking a left into Sokol Park. Plenty of bus and automobile parking is available on the left as you head toward the race area .25 miles down the road.

9:00am...Middle School Girls (approx 2.28 mi)
9:30am...Middle School Boys (approx 2.28 mi)
10:00am..Varsity Girls, Small/Large Sch Combined,7 Runners/ Team
10:15am..Middle School Awards
10:30am..Varsity Boys, Small/Large Sch Combined, 7 Runners/ Team
11:00am..Junior Varsity Girls
11:30am..Junior Varsity Boys
12:00pm..Awards

Limit 7 athletes for Varsity race.
Unlimited Entries per MS & JV race.
Entries:
The entry fee is $17 per athlete with a maximum of $89 per school per individual race i.e. a school who has a Varsity Girls team and a Varsity Boys team would pay $178. Check payable to American Christian Academy Cross Country. Entry fees are to be mailed to 2300 Veterans Memorial Blvd, Tuscaloosa, AL 35404.
We will be running a JV and a Varsity race. The Varsity competition will be limited to 7 athletes. There is no cost for JV entries as long as a school has a full team (of 5) in the Varsity race. A team running more than 7 athletes in the Varsity race will be disqualified.
Elementary entry fee is $5 per athlete. Registration for the elementary race will be from 7:45 to 8:00am prior to their race at 8:30am.

Go to www.alabamarunners.com. Choose the meet under the Calendar heading. Click on the button and follow the instructions. Deadline for Entry is Tuesday, September 17 at 10:59 pm.
Awards:
In the Middle School races, the Top 2 teams per race and Top 10 individuals will receive awards.
In the Varsity race, the Top 2 Small School Boy/Girls teams (1A-3A), the Top 2 Large School Boy/Girls teams (4A-6A), the Top 10 Small School Boy/Girls individuals (1A-3A), the Top 10 Large School Boys/Girls individuals (4A-6A) will receive awards. The Top JV Boy/Girls teams and Top 10 JV athletes will receive awards.
Course:
Grass and dirt trails. Spikes recommended.
