*We have added new trails again this yeareven more shade than last year! Aprx half the trail or more is in a shaded area! Designed for lots of shade in hot temperatures! Of course this will add more turns, but the turns are sweeping. Also, the course was designed for a spectator friendly race. The race course is challenging which features 98% grass/dirt. The course consists of lots of wooded trails as well. Miles 1 and 2 are fast. From mile 2 to mile 3 is the most challenging which has 3-4 short hills. The hills are similar to those of the state course at Oakville whereas they wind up and down through a shaded area. The course has lots of turns but most are sweeping so that the runner does not have to break stride. The trails were graded this year especially with xc in mind. It is spectator friendly if one is willing to walk a short distance to and from 2-3 different sites. The starting area is good and the finish is great!
