Carmen Carlos has had a high school career many runners would be envious of. The four time Alabama 6A XC Champion capped her high school Cross Country career Saturday competing in the 2012 FootLocker Nationals race in San Diego, California. Qualifying 5th out of the Foot Locker South Region in North Carolina, this was Carmen's first appearance at the prestigous FLN.

Carmen was towards the back of the pack at the 1mi mark. She began moving up soon after and was @11:30 at the 2mi. Carlos finished 12th overall in the race and earned All-American status. |
