3A BOYS
Six boy have gone under the 17 minute barrier this year in the 3A Division. The field is led by Trinity Presbyterian Junior, Wesley Curles who ran a season best time of 16:06 last week at sectionals. This is a big PR for Curles this season so it should be interesting to see his time on a dry state course. Catholic-Montgomery's Jarret Mason (16:20) and Cottage Hill's Dylan Schmitz (16:28)will also be contenders for the top individual spot in 3A. Rounding out the other runners under 17 minutes this season are Tyler Helms (Elmont) and Skip Martin (Catholic-Montgomery)
2011 2nd place Catholic-Montgomery, Cottage Hill Christian, and Westminster Christian Academy are going to make this a close race. When scored in a virtual meet, 37 points separates the teams in the top 3 spots.
