Alabama Boys XC Performer of the Week (Aug. 31-Sep. 6)

After another week of cross country racing in Alabama, it's time to vote for the MileSplit Alabama boys cross country performer of the week.

This Week's Nominees:

Charlie Hollingsworth, Florence High School (Alabama): A field of 230 came down to a matter of seconds at the AT&T Starr's Mill XC Meet, and the win went to a 16:04.45 clocking over 5K, just 3.9 seconds clear of the runner-up. That time now stands at No. 44 of 3,271 athletes in MileSplit's database at ONE Church Course since 2022.

Taylor Whitehead, Faith Academy (Alabama): A 17:22.14 5K at the Hurricane Invitational was enough to take first among 59 finishers, with nearly a 20-second cushion over the runner-up. The time now sits at No. 7 of 282 athletes in MileSplit's database at Alma Bryant High School since 2023.

Conrad Albright, Brooks (Alabama): Just four-tenths of a second separated first from second at the Warriors Invitational, where a 17:01.42 5K topped a 172-runner field. The clocking was also 14.0 seconds faster than the prior mark on this course, and it now sits at No. 5 of 769 athletes in MileSplit's database at Wilson School since 2019.

Jayden Phelps, Alexandria High School (Alabama): Crossing in 16:10.36 for 5K, the runner-up finish among 307 at the Yellow Jacket Invitational came in a deep field. The time ranks No. 3 of 1,399 athletes in MileSplit's database at Choccolocco Park since 2019.

Noah Jordan, Hewitt-Trussville HS (Alabama): Second among 420 finishers at the City Auto Memphis Twilight XC Classic, the 5K was covered in 15:39.86. That effort places No. 9 of 3,036 athletes in MileSplit's database at Mike Rose Soccer Complex since 2019.
