Showcase, powered by Huntsville High Cross Country, is reaching new heights hosting over 120 teams to include 12 states. With the largest geographical footprint yet, this year's offering is bringing most of the Southeast together along with teams from Pennsylvania, West Virginia, Indiana, and Ohio. From Miami & the powerhouse of Belen Jesuit to nationally ranked midwest mainstay Columbus North out of Indiana, you can expect another outstanding early season meet that has a regional feel on the nationally acclaimed John Hunt Cross Country Course. Milesplit will be on site to live stream and provide coverage so tune in this weekend.

The meet starts Friday evening with the junior high (7-9th grade) two mile boys and girls races, followed by the Open JV 5K boys and girls races. On Saturday morning the showcase begins at 8:00 AM. The top 10 teams in the field this year based on entries and projections are:

podium (top 5 teams) is truly up for grabs in the championship races. In the blue races, the
varsity group 2 race, the top 4 teams will finish on the podium and receive a trophy.
