Track-ish: Trey Hardee Making Track and Field Relatable

Track-Ish, hosted by Joshua Potts, is back on MileSplit to showcase the personalities of our top high school track and field athletes. In every show, Joshua Potts delves into what makes these athletes great, allowing them space to be themselves on the national stage -- but this week is different. Instead of a rising star, Joshua brings on a legend of the past to offer perspective and guidance on what it takes to reach the top.

Trey Hardee, a retired professional decathlete, joins the show to discuss his high school journey and his role on FloTrack's Diamond League coverage with the Athlete's Lounge. During the early 2000s, Hardee was a multiple-time Alabama state champion in the pole vault, who later became an NCAA Champion decathlete at the University of Texas. He further developed into a World Champion and Olympic medalist in the decathlon.

Trey Hardee's Career Accolades
