The ladies of Alabama are really starting to show their speed endurance in the 400m run.  The top mark in the state this year was set by Janie Ford of St. Paul's Episcopal with her 54.71.  The largest performance gain goes to  Aaliyah Mardis of Huffman High School.  She has dropped over 12 seconds in the 400m run since 2024 and has managed to dip under the 1 minute barrier!
