VOTE: Alabama Performer of the Week: 10/19

It's time again to vote for the Performance of the week!

Editor's note:  Once an athlete has won the performer of the week they are not eligible again until the post season (ie, state and Sectional).

At the Northridge Invitational, William Peterson of Central - Tuscaloosa took home first place honors with a blazing run of 15:47.28. Peterson's speed and consistency on the course earned him a well-deserved victory.

In the Randolph Invitational, Hudson Williams of Chelsea High School ran a strong race, finishing 6th with a time of 15:55.05. The competitive field was challenging, but Williams' performance stood out among some of the best in the region.

In the same event, Rose Betts of Brewer put in an outstanding effort in the girls' race, crossing the line in 18:08.29 to claim Runner-up honors. Betts demonstrated incredible grit and determination as she pushed herself to the limit.

Meanwhile, Delaney Paganelli, an 8th grader from Thompson, showed her potential with a time of 20:06.68 at the Northridge Invitational, earning an 8th place finish among Alabamians. Her performance is a promising sign for future success as she continues to develop as a young athlete.

At the Husky Challenge, Catherine Wallace of Hoover ran a dominant race, finishing with a time of 18:49.65 to take the top spot in the girls' division. Wallace's pace and focus were key in securing her victory.
